Oxfam worked with Friends of the Nation, one of our partner organizations in Ghana, to help local coastal communities monitor environmental impact of the oil industry, and advocate on behalf of fishing communities and others in the coastal areas. Friends of the Nation are one of 100 members of the Civil Society Oil Platform, an association that is advocating for transparent management of oil revenue.
